One day your biggest concern is what you’re doing with your boyfriend the coming weekend, the very next day you’re preparing for motherhood. It’s just a season that flies by quickly and it doesn’t last.
One day your biggest want is an engagement ring and a fun filled wedding, the very next day it’s that your almost middle school student is secure enough in himself to succeed at his next level of education. It’s just a season that flies by quickly and it doesn’t last.
One day your biggest worry is just getting out of the hospital, off bed rest and to have your babies, the very next day those babies are teaching you how to play a game on their iPad and reading their first book. It’s just a season that flies by quickly and it doesn’t last.
One day your biggest chore is changing an average of 18 diapers a day and managing two 2 years old at the grocery, the very next day you’re holding their baby brother and thinking how strange it is to only have one to dress, feed and change. It’s just a season that flies by quickly and it doesn’t last.
One day your biggest fear is telling anyone you’re pregnant at 18 and you need to drop your college classes to work full time, the very next day you are a mother to three of the most genuinely kind, affectionate and dramatic boys and are blessed with the happiest baby boy that has ever existed and you realize that it’s just a season that flies by quickly, but you wish it would last.
